•   Paperful: An easy-to-use research helper that cleans up your reference library, finds missing PDFs and summarises papers. Searches open-access sources and proxies campus access where available; user-defined playbooks and AI-enabled browser take care of non-standard sites, grey literature and field-specific sources. A platform-agnostic mirror of the library provides robust backup and interoperability. Python, Zotero API, Ollama/LiteLLM, Docker.

•   Rollup: A personal briefing engine that turns the sources you deliberately follow into a calm, high-quality periodic digest. Ingests newsletters, LinkedIn, Reddit and webpages; provides web interface to audit input streams, filter noise, and decide what is worth attention; delivers a personalised weekly newspaper instead of endless scrolling and inbox overwhelm. Python, SQLite, Ollama/LiteLLM, Docker, local web interface.

•   IEA-Renweb: A simple-but-effective command-line tool that turns cumbersome IEA World Energy Balances into comprehensible renewable-energy statistics: shares, and the splits for power, heat, transport, buildings, and industry. Python, DuckDB.

•   Wrote and visualised international policy reports; coordinated contributors and workplans for the Renewables Global Status Report modules.

•    Strategy, partner coordination, and representation at UN, EU, and regional meetings. Lead-authored The Long and Winding Road (2018), a guide to the BBNJ negotiations. More than 30 peer-reviewed papers and policy reports.
•    STRONG High Seas: research, workshops, and regional partners in the UN process, including Inter-regional Dialogues of 70+ government, RFMO, UN, and NGO representatives. Marine Regions Forum: a three-day meeting of about 200 ocean-governance leaders.
•    Marine Regions Forum: high-level, 3-day event convening 200 ocean governance leaders. Developed the structure, themes, and outreach strategy, and collaborated with partners to design and deliver engaging sessions—leading to funding for a second edition and establishment of a long-term initiative.
