During my master’s degree in law, I focussed on environmental topics and was awarded the Dean’s Award for my performance in four classes, including Renewable Energy Law and International Climate Law. I have published peer-reviewed papers on a range of topics, including energy policy and carbon markets. I have previously worked as a Paralegal in a top-tier corporate law firm on oil, gas and renewables projects. I also worked for a small non-profit on a project to promote renewable energy and energy efficiency through improved energy policy and regulatory mechanisms. Most recently I interned with REN21, a leading international renewable energy policy organisation. I am a highly capable communicator and have written documents and delivered presentations aimed at a range of audiences. As a tutor to scholarship students from developing countries I deployed cultural sensitivity and empathy in assisting with coursework. I have a qualification in counselling skills. I am a logical and analytical person, and enjoy finding the most effective solution to a given problem.  I am driven by my values, but am always considered and pragmatic. I am highly motivated, aspirational and tech-savvy. I have a genuine thirst for knowledge and always look for opportunities to learn, understand others and expand my horizons. My native language is English and I have a passion for learning foreign languages. I speak Spanish, Indonesian and French to an advanced level, intermediate Swedish and beginner Mandarin.
