# Application for Part-time paralegal ([People + Culture Strategies](https://www.peopleculture.com.au))

Tim Wilson suggested that I write to you expressing my interest in working as a part-time paralegal at People + Culture Strategies.

I completed my undergraduate degree in law in June 2010 and am now studying a Masters of Law degree at the University of New South Wales. I currently work three days per week as a paralegal at Freehills, and as a research assistant at the UNSW School of Law. I am available to work Mondays and Fridays.

Previously I have completed two mini-pupilages and a two-week placement shadowing a UK Crown Court Judge. I worked as a Student Attorney in the capital punishment clinic at the University of Texas and have consistently excelled at legal research. I have also volunteered as a researcher for the Activist Legal Project and have recently taken up a volunteer position at Amnesty International Australia.

I am hard working, diligent and able to learn quickly. I am able to communicate with a range of people and am always keen to take on new challenges. Furthermore, while I am confident using my own initiative to work effectively, I am also not averse to asking questions when I am unsure of the way forward.
