BBNJ CHM Prototype

The official Clearing-House Mechanism is still mostly a noticeboard: documents, meetings, contacts. The Agreement also needs a desk — submit, review, publish, notify, audit — and it is hard to reason about that desk in the abstract.

This prototype is that desk, locally, for marine genetic resources, environmental impact assessments, capacity-building, and a thin slice of area-based management. It is for people who will sit on either side of those forms. It is not the official system. MIT-licensed, without prejudice to COP1.

Intake can be a form or a spreadsheet. Identifiers are issued in order. Roles are enforced. Confidentiality follows every list and export. There is no public host; you run it yourself.

I keep it as a working contrast with the informational pages, not as a product to operate.
