Local-first evidence locker and ask-the-corpus RAG for professional work.
CVs and letters often need work that does not match an old job title. The evidence is on disk — mail, dumps, PDFs — and I cannot reconstruct it from a single document.
Dossier is a private locker for that. It is meant to mint claim cards with citations, and to answer “what did I actually do” from the same records. If the evidence will not carry a claim, the claim is refused. I have to approve a card before it goes near a CV.
Sources are ones I turn on. Local models are the default. Cloud is a choice with a warning. Work mail does not leave the machine by default.
It is still a scaffold, and still private. The extractors are not wired yet.
