Dossier

CVs and letters often need work that does not match an old job title. The evidence is on disk — mail, dumps, PDFs — and I cannot reconstruct it from a single document.

Dossier is a private locker for that. It mints claim cards with citations, and answers “what did I actually do” from the same records. If the evidence will not carry a claim, the claim is refused. I approve a card before it goes near a CV. A posting can become a markdown CV or letter from those approved spans, or a list of the sentences that actually carry each requirement. That request can keep to chosen sources, a year range, and an effort level. The defaults sit in settings and in a profile.

Sources are ones I turn on — ten explicit adapters, no plugin scan. Built-in phrase lists drop obvious noise. I add or turn phrases off from the workbench, without editing code. Local models are the default. How hard they try is one switch: light, balanced, or high. Cloud is a choice with a warning. Work mail does not leave the machine by default. dossier doctor reports readiness, egress, and empty-identity footguns before ingest.

The same commands run in the terminal or in a loopback workbench on this machine. The code is on GitHub. Records stay on the machine that runs it.
