Practice companion for the Irish low D, on this machine, from the first sound through one slow air.
The tutors I can find are for the small high D, or they score you and want an account. The low D is a wider tube. The first months are whether the holes seal, and whether the octave was something you meant.
lowDee is that first path, on this machine. Hold the low note, find the next ones a finger at a time, join them on the breath, then play The May Morning Dew bare and with a cut, a tap, and a roll. The reply is one remark. There is no score.
Listening stays on the device. Once a note will hold, the later notes are taken from this whistle. A take can be heard and is then dropped. Nothing is uploaded. The book stays on the table; this does not replace it.
The first air is the door. I am still checking the loop on a real low D. Later tunes stay shut until that door is settled.
